| Hey, guys. I know it's been a loong time since I updated, but I had school issues and self issues to work out, so I unofficially took a break from Xanga. Sorry about not informing y'all, but I had some real soul-searching to do, and I wanted to be in my own head for a while. Anyway, I've finally decided that I'm fast becoming less of the little girl who ran around on Andrew Johnson Playgroun just one more time before the new school year started, and more of a young woman whom I'm just beginning to learn about. That little girl has vanished into the mists of the Smoky Mtns. and here I am, not knowing who I am. I've done a pretty good job of hiding this from people at school, church, and my own family (tho Lil will know about it after she reads this post). My poem-writing has even gotten more mature than I could've ever imagined as you can see by this: http://allpoetry.com/poem/2388535 That's all for now. Comment me some, will ya? I need shoulders to raise me up every once in a while. | | |
| I finally got around to doing this, Sam. I got this saying from one my freinds in youth group:

Laugh if it makes you laugh; it cracked me up.
I swore I knew the melody That I heard you singing And when you smiled You made me feel Like I could sing along But then you went and changed the words Now my heart is empty I'm only left with used-to-be's Once upon a song

| Hey, guys, I'm in major pain right now. Heck, I'm only typing this entry w/ my right hand on account of pain, and I'm a southpaw. Basically, I slipped and fell down the flight of stairs in my house at around five in the morning. Why, do you ask, was Bianca up at five when she usually gets up at eight or nine? Because she wanted to go walking w/ Olivia & Mom at 5:40. Yes, I know I seem really stupid right now. Hey, at least I didn't have as much damage as the fan; when I came crashing down, I broke the fan in half. That beats any agony I might have in my left arm, whatever's causing it, or any yucky bruise on my left shin. Bye, y'alls! | | |
| Hey peoples! Guess what awards we got in NYC? Yup, they were....(drum roll)... everything except the spirit award! I'm absolutely lovin life right now. In addition to winning all that moolah, I got pictures of Mr. Bader swing dancing (Yes, you HYE people, I will bring pictures), and yesterday I found out that I got a cum laude award on the NLE (National Latin Exam)! (Bianca sings: I am so happy! I am so happy!) | | |

Since I haven't posted in a while, I figured I should. Well, Spring Break has been, if not interesting, certainly work-filled. I finally took my parents' nagging to heart, and actually worked on my room, even though Mom & Dad were skeptical (Me: I've mostly cleaned my room! Dad: That'll be the day!).
Anyway, I'm going to New York (Yes, you HYE people, I know I should've gone with y'all, but going with the D-B Orchestra was cheaper. Plus, I'd get to talk with Stephen Sebastian, one of my good friends) in about five days. I was totally packed for the trip on Wednesday of this week , I was so jittery about it. Well, I haven't packed my blanket and pillow that I'm gonna use on the bus, and I haven't packed any of my shoes or my hygiene stuff. Okay, so I'm not totally packed, but shouldn't packing clothes, undergarments, makeup, jewelry, a journal, and a teddy bear count for something? Anyway, here's the schedule for NY trip.
